We started because we couldn’t answer one question.
Where did the money actually go? Every organisation had an impact report. None of them had a photograph of the box, the number on it, and the name of the person who paid for it — all in one place, for every single delivery.
So we built the thing we wanted to see. We deliver boxes of staples to families in Gaza Camp, Jerash, we photograph every handover, and we publish the record the same week. Not a sample. Not a highlight reel. Every box.
Shahed (شاهد) means witness. That’s the whole idea: you don’t have to trust us, because you can check.

Boxes go to families in Gaza Camp — a Palestinian refugee camp in Jerash, Jordan, home to thousands of people, many without citizenship or the right to work.
We publish the box, the number, the date, the location and the donor’s name. We never publish a recipient’s name — every family on this site is “a family”, and nothing else. Faces are blurred before a photo goes up.
Transparency is owed to the people who give. It is not owed at the expense of the people who receive. Where those two pull against each other, dignity wins.

Numbered
Every box carries a number. No delivery can be double-counted or invented.
Photographed
Handed over in person and photographed on the spot, with the numbered card in frame.
Published
The record goes online the same week — donor named, box shown, permanently.
Identical
The same contents every time, so every record means exactly the same thing.
Camp-led
The contents are the list the families gave us, not a hamper we designed.
Checkable
If a box has no record, it hasn’t gone out. You never have to take our word for it.
